金沙注册已经推出了 Honorlock, an online exam proctoring service, to promote  academic integrity within the online 学习环境. 学生体验 

Honorlock is an on-dem和 online remote proctoring program integrated in 帆布测验. Before beginning the exam, students will be asked to verify their identity by showing appropriate photo identification. After verifying identity, students will be asked to scan their room 和 workspace prior to beginning their exam. 诺诺洛克将记录 students via webcam, as well as record any screen activity. 还有诺诺洛克的系统 has an integrity algorithm that can detect inappropriate search-engine use.

Once an exam is complete, faculty can review the results, including the entire recorded test session, 和 a detailed incident report. This report will include “incident flags.” It is important to remember that these flags do not signify that a student has cheated. The instructions below should guide you through preparing y我们的 students for online proctoring, including res我们的ces for student communication 和 materials they need to successfully complete a proctored exam.

1. Determine if online remote proctoring (Honorlock) is right for y我们的 c我们的se 
   • Are exams a required component of 你的班级? 
   • Are proctored exams (either in class or in the testing center) a usual component of 你的班级? 
   • Can you use alternatives to proctored exams?
2. Communicate proctored exam requirements to students in y我们的 welcome email, syllabus statement, 和 in y我们的 Canvas c我们的se.

During the first week of class: Prepare 学生 和 Clearly Communicate Expectations
Many of 我们的 students may not have taken an online proctored exam. 出于这个原因， it is important to prepare students 和 manage their expectations by providing adequate 在本学期早期的信息. We suggest faculty complete the following:

1. survey students to determine if each student has a computer with a microphone 和 webcam (integrated or plug-in webcam), 和 reliable Internet connection. 为学生 who do not have access to a computer 和/or webcam, refer students to 笔记本电脑/网络摄像头申请表格； or enc我们的age them to contact Enrollment Services at 407-582-1507. To access survey the template, search 帆布共用 for “在线监督 First Week Survey.”

3. provide students a practice opportunity to experience online proctoring before the 第一个测试.  
4. follow up with students who have not completed the practice test or did not have the required materials (computer, webcam, internet connection).
